Solved SMS cannot be initiated from the 3cx. But...

Hi,
I setup the SMS with v18-5 & Telnyx. If I test from my cell phone to the 3CX number and I can text back-and-forth without any problem. However, if I try to initiate a SMS chat from 3CX I'm getting a little red "x" under the text and it does not get transmitted.
Any help is highly appreciated

Hi @Cascada

If you navigate to your users settings and scroll to the bottom of the General tab do you see the option "Enable SMS" enabled and Telnyx selected as your SMS provider?

There are multiple DIDs on the Telnyx trunck. I selected the Telnyx witht the DID associated to my extension. Still same problem.

When you try to initiate a conversation what number format are you using?
