Hi

Just getting set up on 3CX and can't seem to get SMS working in any fashion

1 DID from Voxtelesys pointing to a ring group with 2 users

Incoming / outgoing calls are working fine

Followed the SMS configuration steps without any difficulty

Getting a 30030 error in the event log every time we try to send outbound, inbound doesn't come through either

Error below - removed the numbers for privacy

Failed to send message(s) to the provider 'voxtelesys' from '+(removed).voxtelesys' to '+1(removed)'. Exception: { "type": "per_recipient", "batch_id": "0hi93vvgRagiz0zn", "message_id": "65fab20342a6a8824528bbae", "tag": "bac9670be1294c4e9e71e0926814b99e", "to": "+1(removed)", "status": "unknown", "time": "2024-03-20T10:08:08.857Z" }

The issue here is related with the E164 format of the number. Have you ensured that it configured properly?

Thanks for the quick reply.

Everywhere that there is an E164 option it's been selected. The DID is entered in E164 in the voice/chat section. Voxtelesys has both the inbound and outbound groups formatted to E164 selected. There are a few other places in 3CX where there is a E164 option and they're enabled. Is there a specific place it could be missed?

Is there any caller id reformatting configured in your Sip Trunk?

No, But I turned on the E164 conversion at the top.

Have you ensured all steps as per guideline here?
If so then you will also need to contact the provider to clarify further as this is an error from their side.

Yeah we've verified those steps a bunch of times. Thanks for your help!

Let us know the outcome ;)

This was fixed in <5min after reaching out to Voxtelesys support via a support ticket on our acct

They said it was an issue on their internal configuration (nothing we had access to) and fixed it immediately.

Now SMS is working as planned!

Glad to know this is resolved ;)
