Hi @ITAdOn,

Please note that the guide that you are referring to, applies for installations in V18 Update 5.

Please find the guide regarding V18 Update 6 here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/sip-trunks/

Also, in V18 Update 6, the SMS functionality is enabled by default for all the users. All you have to do, is point an SMS enabled DID to a destination that the extension is part of or directly to the extension, and the extension will be able to send SMS using that DID.

I have done that but still, it's not working. we are not seeing the SMS option in the chat option of the WebClient.

@ITAdOn

Please clarify where are you pointing the DID to. Is it a destination that the extension that you are logged in the Web Client is part of?(for example a call queue)

Yes, DID is pointing to the Call queue extension. and the web client I logged in with is a part of that call queue.

So if you go to the Web Client >> Chat >> click on +, you do not have the option "Send SMS"?

Please point the FQDN to route to the extension that you are logged in the Web Client and see if you can now send an SMS from that extension.
This can be done by adding the DID to Web Client >> Admin section >> Users >> Select the user >> "Assigned valid DID number(s)" section.
