SMTP without login

Is it possible with the way the email component works to send email without a login to the SMTP serve?

My providers SMTP server doesn't require a login, but using it requires that you be on their network. If you are talking about an SMTP server not hosted by your ISP, then probably no, as that would allow unauthorised users to relay SPAM.

Currently the EMail Sender component always uses a login. We'll make a change so when you leave that empty, we'll connect to the SMTP server without specifying credentials.
