Snom 370: Custom Logo

Hi Folks,
i've upgraded to V11. My Company wants to change the default 3CX logo to our one.

i found the following on the snom page:

Dimensions:max. 240x128 pixel
Color Depth: 5 bit (i.e. 32 grey scale colors)
Format: Windows bitmap (.bmp)
Encoding: base64

My problem are these 5bit / 32 gray scale colors. How can I modify this? I've tried this with photoshop and ms paint. But I did not find an option like 5 bit. I only have 4 or 8 bit.

How can I change this to 5 bit. If there is an program which makes this easily, I would use this

I asked snom an got the following answer:

our apologies- the information given in the referred link for some reason were incorrect.
We've just corrected this. Actually the file should be 8bit (256 grey scale colors)

The only thing i found was the location. I had to change this to:

<LocationX>0</LocationX>
<LocationY>0</LocationY>

original value:
<LocationX>45</LocationX>
<LocationY>33</LocationY>

the image can be saller then the screen size, then you can mode it with the location.
there is an issue with the firmware and how the logo is displayed.
the logos i have done for the 370 is correct on the 8.7.4.7 firmware but the firmware is not the best.
i guess i have to redo ours as well at one stage...
