Hello,

I am using Snom D715 phones with standard template.

Before updating to SP1, BLF LED pattern was:
  • Extension is available: LED is off
  • Extension is ringing: LED is blinking
  • Extension is busy: LED is on

Now, since updating to SP1 (both 3CX and the phones’ firmware), BLF LED pattern is:
  • Extension is available: LED is on
  • Extension is ringing: LED is off
  • Extension is busy: LED is off
Is that normal behavior ?

If so, this is very impractical: it is counter intuitive as LED patterns for monitored extensions now works differently than LED patterns for the user’s own line keys but most importantly it is now impossible to make the distinction between a monitored extension that’s busy and one that’s ringing (which is necessary for call pickup).

Is there any option to revert to the old LED pattern?

I tried creating a custom template, but I can't figure out the correct config to use. Is there any way to get the template for the previous version back so I could copy the old BLF config to a custom template?

Thanks,

Hello @av23

Please note that there is currently a bug in Snom's latest firmware that is affecting the BLF functionality in models 715, 712 and 710.
However the behaviour for these models has changed and the behaviour should be
  • Extension is available: LED is on
  • Extension is ringing: LED is blinking
  • Extension is busy: LED is Red or Off (depending on the phones capabilities)
Please keep an eye out for any updates in Snom firmware that will resolve this issue. Once we have the fix we will provide an update through the PBX
