Snom D785 audio default issue

Hi All

Recently started deploying some Snom D785's and there seems to be an issue in that when i dial any number or extention there is no audio present unless i manually press the speaker phone or headset button on the phone.

i have tried making sure the handset audio button on the handset is lit up green before dialing, but as soon as any number is dialled it goes back to no light.

Has anyone had any similar issues or able to advise?

Hi Nick,

I think you just plugged the handset to the wrong port.
I reproduced your issue (or something similar) when connected the handset to the headset port.

The handset need to be connected to the top port as it shown here:


Check the port and keep us informed about the results.

I'm having issues transferring people to shared parking using the BLF buttons.
i can park people using the windows client just not on the handset using the BLF buttons.
i've checked the extension settings and the user has rights to park

Are you getting an error when you try to park a call? Does the call drop? What issues are you experiencing?

The button just does not do anything
