Snom M700 configuration

Hello everyone,

I recently moved a V18 3CX Windows Install from a Win10 VM to a WinServer2022 VM. No real hiccups, but the M700 base our client uses won't register. I have followed the guide under https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/snom-m300-m700-dect/ exactly, but it simply won't pull any configuration file from the 3CX. At least I think it's not doing that because I see the DECT Base as red under the "new" admin console and it is still taking the standard admin/admin for its own web interface.

Or maybe there is a way to manually upload the configuration file to the DECT base? As there are zero changes being made on it, it doesn't need to automatically update

Hi,

This device is EOL, and is no longer able to auto-provision on 3CX because it doesn't support modern ciphers and cannot download the config file.

On V20 (for local installations where the PBX and M700 are on the same LAN) you can pick the IP address of the machine as your interface while adding a M700 base, and it will be able to load the provisioning file.



If the device is remote, provisioning will not be possible so you will have to manually configure it to work over SBC as per the guide https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/snom-m300-m700-dect/

Confirm that the IP of the device has not been blacklisted, and make sure to factory reset it before adding it anew.

I have SONM 1x M300 and 5x M25 Handset and I'm facing with the same issue but what is sound very strange is that 2 DECT stop authenticating when I reset the password for 2 users the others is working fine.
Why?
Is there any manual configuration to apply?
What is the SNOM supported DECT model?

You need to reprovision the base after password reset of any user.
