Customer has a snom PA1 adapter, they run a kid's entertainment center, so it's always really loud and impossible to understand the horns. They have always just mashed some DTMF tones over the paging horns to announce that food is ready. Worked fine on analog PBX, and worked fine on 3CX until recently. No DTMF audio is passed. The inital tone from the paging adapter and voice passes fine, but no DTMF tones whatsoever. I've factory reset the adapter, manually programmed and reprovisioned, deleted and recreated the extension, tried the various DTMF options on the extension coupled with cycling SIP INFO on the webUI of the PA1. Nothing makes any difference. Any ideas?

Might be the set that is doing the calling. Check the DTMF Method, it might not include "audio". Perhaps pages were made previously from a set that did have that option. I know PSTN gateways will convert SIP DTMF messages to tones, but, I 'm not certain of the need to do so with a paging system. I may be wrong but I would think it would have to rely on the tones actually being sent.

I'm confused on the statement that it worked fine on analog PBX. You were using the Snom PA1 with an analog PBX? Or are you saying the horns worked fine withe analog PBX (no PA1) and then worked fine when you switched to 3CX and used the PA1.

Anyways the PA1 has a headset port so you can plugin and listen to what is coming from 3CX. Check if you hear tones then. But I doubt anything changed on the PA1 so I'd think back as to what you might have changed on the PBX to make things stop working.
