The 3CX is installed on prem. the Version of the 3cx is Version 20.0 Update 4 (Build 487 Release)
We have a Phone which disconnect after certain time, it's just unregistered. It's a snomD865 with firmware 10.1.175.16
The Customer have 20 Phones and only this one does not work.
We have already changed the Phone to other Model/Other Phone. The issue is still persistent.
Aswell checked the newest Firmware of the Snom Device 10.1.184.15.

We have changed/deleted the Extension. Even with a new, extension, the issue is still persistent.
We changed the switch between the Phone and 3CX and the issue is still persistent.
All other Extensions are working fine.
Someone have an Idea how to proceed?

So the issue follows the wire, rather than the device?

You should be running an SBC for this phone, unless the PBX and device are on the exact same LAN.

Hi,

Yes, the Problem does not follow the device. Even when i place the device on other switch or other place. The issue is persistent.

Device and Phone are in the exact same LAN

I had something similar in a previous job. All the phones in a particular department were disconnecting at random. Discovered when we were doing a recabling that a previous contractor used connectors to extend some cables in that area.

Id look into getting a cabling guy in to check the cable from te wall to the patch panel. It might be a bad cable, or it might be passing by an electrical fixture so when that appliance turns on, there is interference and it messes with your signal, thus duimping the phone connection.

Hi,

the user has changed the location and also the building. The problem still existed, so the cable problem can be ruled out.

I have now set up a completely new extension from scratch and assigned it to the phone.
Let's have a look.
