Solved softphone unpark issue

Softphone client unpark does not work. The call is being parked by user using transfer *00.
Another user dials *10 on 3CX softphone client (iphone - iOS).
3CX app cuts the ending zero and is unable to pick up the parked call.
Does anyone know why?

The log shows only the *0 or *1.

Are you sure they are not using Shared Parking? That is different, albeit unfortunately similarly named. If using shared parking, the app needs to dial SP0, upper case. (side note: this can also be accomplished by forwarding a dummy extension to SP0).

I was just able to park orbit using *00 and picked up using *10 in my iOS app.

1. Shared parking: i don't know how to say. Where is this set? What is the difference?

re: app, I apologize, not enough coffee this morning. The mobile app cannot dial SP0. Hence the need for the dummy extension. For example create x400 and forward all its calls to "SP0" in the user settings, and name x600 "SP0" like:


Then in the app transfer the call to SP0 x400. The down side of using shared parking that way is, there is no way to tell in the app whether a slot is already in use or not, since the app does not have BLF buttons. So, there is a risk of putting two callers in the same SP slot.

The Desktop App or web client can dial SP0 with letters.

Parking orbit (https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-dial-codes/#h.aduo384ft510) is not the same as Shared Parking, see differences at https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/call-parking/.

Shared Parking can be set as a BLF so someone can see from the BLF color if the SP slot is in use:

Tap the magnifier to open the Search, and there tap SP0 and you will see appearing "Call SP0"

On build we've released today (18.6.4.686) you won't need capital letters, so should be more comfortable.
