Solved [SOLVED] Routing internal calls

Hi 3CX community,

I'm at a customer right now and they are using an analoge door system with a Cisco SPA112 adapter in between.
The destination of the door system is hard coded in the system (extension 703).
This customer is using a cloud-based 3CX server running V15 with a 4 digit extension number set.

Is it possible to reroute the call to non-existent extension 703 to one of the internal extensions?
I see that the system is trying to make the call, but can't, because extension 703 doesn't exist.

Try setting SIP ID the desired extension to the 703.

Then, make sure SIP URI is enabled in Settings > Network > FQDN.

There's not much else you can do...

Why is the 703 hardcoded? I don't believe that.

You're right, its not hardcoded.
It is set in the analogue door system and I dont have the tools/knowledge to update it.
The engineer is on its way, but I really wanted to make it work without changing it.

So I guess i'm just gonna have to wait for the engineer to get here and set it to one of our extensions.

Update:

I misconfigured the reply by @Frederick Marcoux. (I configured set SIP ID to the door phone, and not on the extension that needs to receive the calls).
Applying it correctly DID manage to fix the issue. It takes a while for the door phone to make the outbound call, but when it does it goes to the correct phone, has audio and the DTMF can open the door.
