Good afternoon.
Perhaps someone has encountered this problem:
A few months ago, we noticed on our product server that some Yealink T31P devices started to slow down.
This manifests itself in the fact that (for example) when you start dialing a number on the device, it only appears on the screen after 3-4 seconds.
We noticed that this happens after the backlight timeout (which is 5 minutes for us) and not immediately, but after the device has been idle for some time.
As soon as the device display becomes active, the slowdown disappears.
The firmware is the latest (124.87.0.15).
The 3CX version is the latest current one (20.0 Update 6 (Build 724 Release)).

Is there some kind of sleep mode?

P.S. I opened a ticket with Yealink's, but so far without success. I thought maybe someone else had encountered this issue.

Hi,

Yes, these phones do enter a power saving mode (not exactly sleep). The power savings might possibly be a bit too aggressive with slowing down the CPU, and the phone is a bit slow the moment when it's just coming out of power saving mode. It can sometimes be observed on other Yealink models too.

It was a good move to open a ticket with Yealink, let us know when you get a reply.

Yes, I have already opened a ticket on Yealink.

I will also play around with this option.
Thank you.

If anyone is interested, the problem was solved with new firmware sent to me by Yealink - 124.87.0.20.
I think it will soon be publicly available in 3CX.

Hi,

I have the same problem and I can't find the firmware v. 124.87.0.20
Does anyone know when it will be available?

Not sure exactly what the version number will be, but we expect Yealink to provide us with new certified firmware within the next couple of months.

I have it, but it's in a format that can't be attached here in the comments. Send me a private message.
