Hi I have followed this guide to set up a SSH server. I have everything working correctly with out the ssh keys.
However as soon as i add them i am getting an error on the 3cx config. See below . I presume i am missing some step on the SSH server config
that is causing this. I used this guide https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/install-openssh-server-secure/ and this guide https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/convert-open-ssh-key/
I have tried on a windows and debian box both on the latest SP4 with the same error when configuring the backup. If i delete the open ssh key then it functions correctly.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

It seems that you are trying to connect using your ssh public key instead of the private. id_rsa.pub is the public key which should reside on the destination server. In 3CX you should upload your private key (in the correct format of course).

Hi Florink

ty I recieve the same error with the id_rsa key. I think i am missing something on the SSH server.

So to confirm. I created a key pair by following the second guide in my post. I then use the id_rsa key on the remote 3cx instance i want to backup. Is there any thing else i need to do on the SSH server ?

Cheers
