I am using a SpeedTouch 716 ADSL Gateway to connect my computer to the Internet. It has the facility to allow me to connect 2 analogue phones which I can use to make VOIP call independently of my computer.
I have downloaded the free 3CX software and installed it. Can I now configure these 2 telephone ports on my SpeedTouch 716 ADSL Gateway as two separate extensions within the 3CX Phone System instead of connecting SIP Phones to my computer.
If I can I need the to know what exactly to enter for the following fields in the configuration of my SpeedTouch 716 ADSL Gateway:
SIP URI:
Username:
Password:
Registrar:
Registrar Port:
Proxy:
Proxy Port:
Expire Time:
And also how to configure these extensions within the free 3CX software - namley what to use for the ID and Password fields and also SIP ID field.
