Good morning all,

Someone on here mentioned that this was doable; I need to have SMS/MMS chat capabilities, but don't want to leave my existing SIP provider (VoIP Innovations/Sangoma).

Is it possible to split the SMS/MMS and voice, and if so, can someone point me in the right direction? I thing Telnyx was the provider mentioned for the SMS/MMS functionality...

Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas!

Telnyx has a functionality called hosted SMS. There is a procedure you can follow to enable this.
https://telnyx.com/resources/hosted-sms-how-to-guide

You will then need to follow the 3CX instructions to add it to your PBX

Haven't tested it personally but a few other users said it worked.

Beautiful, thank you Yiannis.

Twilio also has that functionality.

I set this up with Telnyx with a DID I bought from Telnyx for testing; so far so good. Waiting for the change to go through to split the SMS/MMS and the voice.
