Hi, I notice that sinve installing 5.1 that SRV isnt implemented or doesnt appear to be when I look at the status at the VOIP provider.

Is there a parameter to set as I cant see one or has it been overlooked.

Yes DNS SRV.

The Voip proider I use shows whether the logged in user is subscribing to DNS SRV. I know version 5 was but 5.1 doesnt appear to be.

Nothing has changed in this regards from v5 to v5.1
And, subscription for DNS SRV is something completely new for me. Can you please point it out where have you found such option? Which RFC?

Hi Archie, well I know that when I first looked at 3cx in November last year, version 3.1 didnt support DNS SRV, but when version 5 came out I notice it did. I only know his from the logs at he VOIP provider. So just to show you i've loaded up version 5 onto a second machine, see below the two logs of version 5 and version 5.1 which clearly show. Maybe 3cx is unwitingly supporting SRV in version 5.0 without you knowing.

No, 3CX wittingly supports it since v5, and should support in v5.1. If it doesn't - I should fix it.
