I have deployed a 3CX VM instance via the Azure Marketplace using the instructions here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-azure-marketplace/. Everything is working very well except for the ability to access the system via SSH to, among other things, retrieve backups and CDRs. I know there are other ways to accomplish those things but having shell access is going to be helpful in future troubleshooting. Anyway, I have tried accessing the system using both root and pbxexpress as the username and the confirmed original (and current) management console password and nothing is working. Can someone tell me if the Azure Marketplace method creates different credentials than a ISO or PBXExpress based installation? I have searched for a while and cannot find anything. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.

In step 4 you are prompted to select the type of authentication. Do you remember what you had chosen?

John - Yes, I chose username and password. I have also tried those credentials without success. I had assumed this was for Azure access though?

You might want to look for reset SSH for Azure VM then.

Microsoft has a guide to help you with this.

Well I have to eat crow. I just tried the credentials I set in Azure and this time they worked. I must have mistyped them and moved on in thinking I was heading in the wrong direction. Thanks for getting me back on path.
