Solved SSL Certificate Expired

Hi. I saw on another closed thread that support may have to help me out with this. Our SSL certificate expired and is not being updated automatically. We're hosted on Lightsail 3CX V16 Update 8. We did rebuild the server a few months ago as an FYI. Suggestions?

Are you using a 3CX FQDN?

If you are using a 3CX FQDN, first thing to check is if you can reach our activation servers successfully. Access the Management Console and go to Settings >> License, click on "Refresh License Key Information". What do you get when you do that? Do you perhaps get any errors?

We are running Let's Encrypt on all our privately hosted instances and never have to worry about purchased certs expiring. I highly recommend going this route although it takes a little effort to get it working. Hope you find a solution to your current problem.

In that case yes, it does autorenew, provided of course that everything with the 3CX Instance in question is in order such as it's communication with our server's it's License Key, etc. Have you tried the "Refresh License Key Information" in Settings >> License? What happens when you do, does it give you an error message?

Thanks for the message back Chris. I figured out the issue from another thread. I've been rebooting the server nightly as our Amazon Chine trunk goes down although the SCX dashboard doesn't register it. Rebooting has been keep it up and running. It seems that although the server is only down for 15 min it was affecting the certificate renewal.

The 3CX SSL certificate is also done via LE and works out of the box.
