Seeing this error

SSL Certificate renewal has been failed. Error: Exceeded the maximum number of certificate requests. Limit to 5 certificates per domain per week. The SSL certificate is no longer valid or will expire. This is a sign of multiple active installations using the same FQDN.

Over the weekend I had also been caught out by the amazon LightSail issue with a update causing the server to hang.

Was working fine on Friday then not on Saturday ....

First off I tried to install new clean system and then restore from back up but that had issues several times.

Then restored from a snaphot and that was working fine but .. that was on the 31st.

Luckily most of the client access is via IOS so that is still working but some of the home workers with SBC obviously are unable connect. I realise that it has hit certificate request limit. 3CX software it is trying to renew it every day.

Is it just a case of wait until the request limit expires at the coming weekend and the it will automatically sort it self.

Tim

Hi Tim,

If the system is up and running now, it will sort itself out once the Let's Encrypt timeout limit expires. If i'm not mistaken it's a week from when you first hit the limit.
