Solved Standard / Free edition in the Cloud without time limit ?

I want to host the 3CX Standard/Free edition on a cloud system - very likely Amazon Lightsail. Is this possible with the free edition without any time limit and with no additional costs apart from the cloud providers hosting costs? I am asking this question because I came across a posting in this forum where someones trial on Google Cloud just disappeared after one year - that is something I want to avoid.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello,

I think you are confusing the hosting VS the license:

a) The case you describe is likely a free 3CX-hosted VM (unrelated to license). If you host it by yourself, you control the VM so it won't be deleted.

b) The license can be used as a free edition, for as long as you want. The free licenses are subject to change though, so it might not stay the same forever. You can still upgrade in the future though if needed
