Good Morning Colleagues
I hope you are doing good and safe.

One of our customer has 3CX Pro 16 concurrent calls installed on the below machine:
  1. Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz
  2. Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.79 GB usable)
  3. System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
The operating system is windows 10 x64 bit.

Yesterday, We have high memory spike where memory usage reaches more 95% . Problem solved once restart done .

If the issue occur again , Which snapshot required to share here so you can help me diagnosis and solve the issue ?

Thx in advance.

Best Regards

@siscom
Total memory consumed by the 3CX system can be readily seen on the "Services" page accessible from the Dashboard of the Management Console. If it doesn't grow more than, say, 40% of your available RAM, there is nothing to worry about.

On the other hand, if additional software installed eats so much memory, you might consider upgrading the machine.

To save you some time for the future, here how you can save the running processes list to a text file (see first section):
https://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/save-a-list-of-running-processes-to-a-text-file-in-windows/

two additional tips I will throw in:

1. Run task manager as an admin, windows "hides" some processes which can make the ram usage seem smaller.
2. Take a look at the performance tab of task manager and look at the committed memory, it will show you how much memory is actively being used, paged, as well as committed. this is useful for getting a look at the "bigger picture" of memory usage on your server.

Thx colleagues for your suggestions . Let me try it and will revert back to you if further support required.
