Solved Suddenly cannot make calls

I have searched the forums for this and I cant seem to find this particular version of the problem. Our phones cannot dial out now but have been working fine in the past. I took a look at the logs and the say call unanswered. No error message just dead air when you dial. Another thing to note is I was having problems with the phone hanging up at 32 seconds when a person dialed in. Read up on that issue in the forum and was about to work through that but it seemed to solve itself.


I'm using Amazon AWS and the voice connector.

Any ideas?

Hi @Mitch Fairbanks,

Please navigate to Dashboard >> Activity log >> Settings and set the logging level to verbose. Then restart all services of the PBX and try to perform an outbound call. Check the Activity log after for any clues regarding the issue.

Glad to hear the restart worked @Mitch Fairbanks, feel free to change the logging level to Normal. Verbose was set so find out more regarding the issue when you try to call again.
