I have a System Extension showing Red on my 3CX console this has only happened after moving from Patton Gateway to SIP Trunk how can I remove this System Extension from the (I Assume database) Cannot see an easy route to remove it.

Anyone else seen this problem?

What version of 3CX are you running and the system extension/extension number ?

In previous versions gateways were assigned trunk numbers (such as 10000) I am not sure if this is what you are seeing. What model of Patton were you using also ?

This system is currently running 3CX v15.5u6 the ext is 90002 and the Patton was a SN4120

I will move this from windows to 3CX-debian running V16 fairly soon. But want to make sure everything is running as best it can before converting over

Have you removed the Patton configuration completely from the PBX and restarted the services ? maybe worth trying.

Yes did a restart yesterday. but the Extension Service still there. It is not in the Settings - Parameters have searched so has to be in the database but I am not aware of the correct way to edit the database to remove this service.

Anyone have any idea on how to remove a system extension?

Yes, this can be done by accessing the database directly on 3CX. Although 3CX probably wont offer support for this so you are on your own unfortunately.

Its fairly straight-forward but would advise caution when doing this. You can use a tool such as pgadmin:
https://www.pgadmin.org/download/

And accessing: C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin and open the file 3CXPhoneSystem

You will need to create a ticket with our support department so they can look at the issue and act accordingly. If they need to delete the entry from the database they will do so. Accessing the database on your own will void any support for your system so make sure you avoid doing so.

creating a ticket appears to cost £75, thats a bit steep for removing an item from the database. Or have I missed something

You can do this yourself without the need to raise a ticket although I think what 3CX are saying is that due to the nature of sensitivity of manual changes to the database (if you get this wrong the implications can be pretty serious) they want to do this with you.

Albeit at a cost.

This is a problem, I am confident I can do it, but if everything goes south, this is the production telephone system, for our German office. Time to fix could cause major issues for this office. Why is it that it does not remove properly via the 3CX software, I did remove the Patton as documented. Surely this is a bug

That's what backups are for. Take a backup and then do the edit. If it's a problem then restore.
