T46S new firmware

Hi,

We have an office with some T46S's.

3CX has updated them all to firmware 66.86.0.5 - April 2020, standard template no changes.

Found an issue witht the new yealink WH62 headsets, where it keeps resetting the handset ringer to max volume after using the headset.

Manually updating handset to 66.86.0.15 - May 2021, resolves the issue.

But 3CX reverts the firmware back overnight.

Is there any ETA to when 3CX will update to the latest firmware?, or how would I stop the server from rolling back the firmware?

Hello @it198

3CX will usually publish the new firmware when Yealink tests it and sends it to us for production use, so the release schedule is largely down to the manufacturer.

At the moment we do not have any ETA from Yealink so I feel free to contact them directly if you wish and ask. Sometimes they do send us firmware that also corrects issues with accessories when customers inform them about it.

Do you perhaps have a contact at Yealink you could ask? It has been available on their website for over 12 months now?

But 3CX reverts the firmware back overnight.

If you have access to ssh to the 3CX server, you can delete the .rom file to avoid the rollback to the old firmware.

Locate here: /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Http/Interface/provisioning/*randomthings*/firmware/
