Hi All,

We're experiencing issues with 2 client sites using T54W handsets, on the newest firmware - 96.86.0.74

Sites are pre-existing and have always been configured with STUN, however, in the last week or so we have had 2 handsets provision, but not register, we have factory reset and re-provisioned both handsets.

3CX instances are located in separate hosting environments - Lightsail and Binary Lane, we have attempted to fault find on both NBN and 4G/LTE services with out resolution.

We have not had to deploy sites to date using SBC's, however, it may need to be changed due to 3CX updates.

That would be the ideal thing to do. Better yet, this model can be deployed as a router phone (it now contains the SBC built into its firmware). It can also serve as the SBC of other phones (10 devices max).

So remove the entries from 3CX, and try deploying it as a router phone using this guide.

When you are done configuring, factory reset the device so it will pull the new settings.

If you are happy with it, you can then reconfigure other devices to route through it as their SBC and abandon STUN altogether.

Setting one or both as router phones will simplify everything, no port forwarding required to the phones. It’s just a few more clicks when setting up a phone. Then up to 9 other phones can use a router phone…factory reset, they will show in 3CX, and add to the extension again, and be done with STUN. All PnP.
