T58W - Router Phone

Hi All,

I have seen a number of posts in the forum that the Yealink T58W cannot be used as a router phone. The 3CX website now seems to show that it is. Can anyone please confirm.

As per guideline here, Yealink T58W can be a router phone:


However you need first to ensure that the phone is on the latest 3CX Firmware.

I am being told this is only for V20 and not V18. Can you please confirm?

This device can be used as router phone, but you must ensure that its firmware, is the same as mentioned in our page.

Yes I can confirm this ability was added in V20

It was not available in V18.
