Hi!
I'm developing an integration of 3CX v.15 and our office services, so I need an additional information about database structure.
There is a table "cl_segments" in our Postgres DB with call segments, and I need to know a meaning of two fields: type_id and action_id.
So, my questions are:
1. What kind of information contains in those fields
2. And could you pleace share all of values of those fields with interpretations

Thank you!

Hi @lisson,

Accessing the 3CX database is an unsupported procedure, which might lead to unpredictable behavior. We strongly discourage you to do this.

Also, the database structure might be changed with any update from 3CX without further notice, breaking your app funcitonality.

It is recommended that you use 3CX CDRs to read calls information.

Kind regards.

Unfortunately 3CX doesn't document the internal database tables or their values. As Ernesto mentioned above, accessing the PostgreSQL database is strongly discouraged. However, if you are determined to do it, then my suggestion is that you make a number of tests calls and see what shows up in these fields. You should be able to match what actions you performed and what values show up. Depending on what information you are looking for, you may be able to get the information you need by processing the CDR files. I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Exporter tool. It can automate the processing of CDR files to get the data into a database you can query. Note, however, that the CDR information is only written when the call is complete. If you need real-time data, then you can get it using the Call Control API. The event data is a little complex to work with, but that is another approach you can take.
