I'm pretty new in PBX world so please forgive me if I ask obvious (read: stupid) questions...
I installers 3CX on my home server and it works great. of course next step is to enable outgoing calls.
What I read until now is that for this I need FXO gateway that will connect to POTS and convert it to VoIP but with a little bit of investigation I found out that my home land-line is actually already VoIP provided by my telekom provider and my home router is actually FXS gateway providing connection to my analog telephone.
This sounds really inefficient to convert VoIP to analog and back.
So here come my idea/question... sounds like I could skip gateway part and connect 3CX directly to telecom VoIP just by adding connection details to 3CX. Is this even possible?
