I use Telnyx for our SIP trunks.
Telnyx offers an AnchorSite® that one can use to reduce latency. On the Hosted package, where is the center located for the calls routing through 3CX so I can set the AnchorSite®?
For example, I can set the AnchorSite to Chicago. So I need to know the best city to choose for 3CX's call routing.
I hope I am making sense.
Thanks!

OK, so the IP location is for my location? On a cloud hosted site, is not the location where 3CX hosts the hosted site?
I am not getting it. :-)

Change the IP (it's yours by default, yes) for your hosted instance's one.

Ahhhh! OK, thanks!!!

I would recommend using supported trunks. Furthermore of you lock it down by IP and your instance IP changes because of for example a hardware failure then your sip trunk no longer works until you change it.

I think he just wanted to know where his instance is, to select the closest Telnyx anchor.

Could that be added to the portal? A field that says like "DigitalOcean / Toronto" or "Vultr / Melbourne" so that we can know where Hosted instances are? Not necessarily for Telnyx but any other provider with multiple POPS.

I know Telnyx is not "supported" however they have fantastic rates and services that suites my business needs perfectly. I looked at all the supported SIP providers, and they did not offer such great rates and an elastic rate structure. Telnyx allows me to suddenly gets tons of calls during spikes in our advertising and then simmer down to daily standards of 3-4 concurrent. Not sure why Telnyx is not supported. I hope it is not political (!).

Yes, I just wanted to know where my instance is, to select the closest Telnyx anchor.
I also have a static IP, so no worries there.
