Solved Telnyx blocking anonymous outbound

When using the default *5 dial code to block outbound caller ID, I get this response:

192.76.120.10 replied: 403 Caller Origination Number is Invalid D35; from IP:192.76.120.10:5060

How can I alter the SIP headers the way Telnyx describes in their documentation to allow for anonymous outbound calling?

If you set up the trunk as described in our guide then you should not have to do any changes to the trunk settings.

You'll need to edit the SIP trunk, go to Outbound Parameters, then change the field From: User Part to be EnforcedOriginatorCallerID

Thanks for the response. I checked through that guide and everything was properly configured, default template in use with credential authentication.


Adjusting the From: User Part as described in my post above resolved the issue.
