Hello.

Is there a way, to test communication between sites in different VLANs within the portal? According to users, from two different branch sites, when either calls to the other they can't hear one another. I would like to assign an extension to one of those two VLANs, within the 3CX portal (or some means), and test calling to the other location...without having to physically be on a phone, at either branch.

o_O

So are these different sites or different VLANs or both? The VLAN is irrelevant unless you have a circuit between the sites that keeps the VLANs tags.

And no there's no way 3CX can be in three different places at once. The closest thing you can accomplish is to do a wireshark capture from 3CX while you have someone initiate the test call. That will tell you if audio from either extension is actually hitting the PBX. If you don't care about testing and just want to 'fix' the issue you can try enabling 'PBX Delivers Audio' for your extensions.

Enabling the option "PBX Delivers Audio" under the extension settings will most probably fix your issue. What might be happening is that the PBX sees all extensions as local and is telling them to transmit audio directly between them which fails. Enabling the option will force the PBX to receive and transmit all audio.

Thanks, everyone. And, sorry for the late reply. The issue, has been resolved.
