Hello,
We want to upgrade v18 running on Windows to v20 on Linux and the guides make this look simple and straightforward enough.
Ideally we want to run the v20 instance with a restored backup in an isolated VLAN, to double check some of the restored configuration. Out of hours we would update the LAN IP on v20 to match the LAN IP of the v18 install, to allow more testing e.g. phones / calls / CRM etc.
This gives us reassurance we know what configuration changes we need to make at the point we cutover to v20 and can be sure of the migration success.
What we are not sure of is how the 3CX license will behave during this process. If we just have either v18 or v20 live at any one time, can we switch between the two versions for testing?
Thank you.
