Text Message sent on IVR selection

I have a customer asking if we can set up a way for their customer to get directed to an IVR and if they make a certain selection it will send them a text message. Is there a way to do it? I know how I could do it with nodejs if the system could make a HTTP call. But I am not sure how to get 3cx to do that. Is there a way to do this?

I think a CFD can make a web call and you can have the IVR call to a CFD
