Hi @Raya

Please tell us the following:

  • Your 3CX version
  • What browser you used for this, and its version

Hi John, Please excuse me.

Here is the information you request
3cx v. 16.0.493
Google Chorme v. 79.0.3945.88 (Build oficial) (64 bits)

Today I was doing more test with other desktop PCs with same 3cx / gChrome versions but I have success!!

Could be the kaspersky firewall / antivirus the problem ?.. I was checking the config. but dont see any rare.

Can you show us a screenshot of the issue or the error message (if one appears) ?

Yes
And ClickToCall uninstalled

Hi @Raya

I would suggest to Google for any "online voice recorder" and see if your browser is capable of sending audio to sites and also playing it back.

We need to know if it affects everything or just the 3CX webclient.

You can also log into your webclient from incognito mode, just in case you have other plugins installed that may be affecting the audio outputs/inputs

Note: If you have a USB headset, try to use it instead of the "Realtek High Definition Audio (SST)" device you have now.

Hi @JohnS_3CX

I just doing some tests after uninstall my antivirus suite, then I was checking that Hangouts work without problem (cam / mic) and I got same results with the 3cx web client.
With same laptop, I was disconet all external peripherals and check it, but again with same results.
I was checking too with Plantronics Legend and Plantronics Blackwire C510 (mic / speaker) and again have same result.

All of this hardware are being used every day with Skype, Hangouts and 3cx windows client without problem.

The 3cx web client never leave me modify the Camera / Speaker / Ringer / Mic.

I don´t know what can I more check.

Thanks for your support

Interesting follow up, we have had two machines in our office experience the same issue. I was able to access the sound settings last week. the only change I am aware if is my google chrome is now updated to a newer version.

on our end, I simply "killed" the 3cx extension using the chrome task manager. once I did this the extension automatically reloaded a few seconds later and the functionality was restored. I have tested this "fix" on two machines.

Yes I can confirm. Exactly the same situation. Thx

I do it but without success.
Please, could you reproduce and tell me the steps for test it?
I would like to know if the extension could be compatible with other browser / version to test it

Hi @Raya

Can you go to your sound card settings and select "Advanced" then click "Restore Defaults" ?

Then you must also right click the 3CX chrome extension icon 13730and then click "Reload Extension"

Hello @Raya ,

The following incident verified internally and it will be fixed on upcoming releases.

As a workaround please proceed and sign-out and sign-in from the WebClient.

Please let me know if this solve your problem.

Thank you.

Hi @Raya

Can you please uninstall the 3CX Chrome Extension and try to go back to the audio settings again?

We would like to know if you still face the issue when there is no plugin involved at all. Do you still get that error?

If you get the error still, then log out, open an incognito window and launch the webclient from there. This will ignore anything left in the cache of your browser and should effectively load the webclient from scratch.

Hi again @JohnS_3CX
I was uninstall the 3cx extension then go back to audio settings, but everythings is same (blocking me all hardware settings selectors).
Then I test it in an incognito tab and allow 3cx extension in this mode, but again get same issue.
