Good morning,

I'm working at an integration between 3x and Salesforce, and when I send a test call I receive this error log:

Type Warning
Event ID 30052
Date 06/23/2025 10:26 AM
Details There was no user or outbound rule found for the number ********** that Ext.10 dialed.

I set up an outbound route for italian numbers but I don't know if I confugured it the right way at this point.

Thanks for the clarification.

It's not clear to me what the second parameter stands for exactly.

And by the way I assumed that leaving the field blank would have created a sort of "global" outbound rule.

If I'm wrong, does this means I need to set an outbound rule for each prefix in need to forward calls to?

You can configure the system to allow calls based on the length of the dialed numbers. For example, setting the length to 10-15 will apply the outbound rule to numbers that are between 10 and 15 digits long, allowing you to use a single outbound rule to cover that range.

For greater control, it is recommended to further restrict the rule by specifying the department to which the exemption applies, and limiting it to members of that department who are authorized to make those calls.

Additionally, the guide provided in the previous reply outlines further configuration options to help you refine this setup.

Thanks a lot, that was very useful.

The issue is still persistent tho.

I'm not sure I figured out the "Calls from Extention(s)" parameter.

I set it up to "10" (not knowing what it actually means or does), Calls to numbers starting with prefix to "+39" and Calls to numbers with a length of to an arbitrary 9-15 range.

What am I doing wrong?

You can start by just adding the caller with numbers of length and setting ranges of the digits being dialled and nothing else, then you can lock it down further once you have it working. The call from extension field is for which extesnion numbers that can make the calls

Tried unsuccesfully with this configuration1750696070527.png

Hello,
Try this:

Option 1:
Please delete the 'prepend' +39 and try again.

Option 2:
Leave the +39 but:
Change 'Strip digits' to 1, this will delete the left 0 of the number dialed.

Hi,

So the Outbound Call Routing has 4 "filter" conditions - For any call to be accepted by the rule it must
  1. Match at least one or more conditions.
  2. Not go against ANY condition.
Unlike the first 3 conditions, Departments must match exactly if the other ones were left empty ("ANY") - it does not really default to any in the same way.

So ALL conditions empty will generally not wok.

With the attempt to use the 10 digit option - we need to know how the number wad dialled. Was it dialled as 10 digits indeed?

Hope this clarifies it a bit.

Best,
K.
