Hi, please assist with this issue. I am trying to register a sip trunk and I am getting below error. What might be the issue.

Cause: Cause: 408 Request Timeout/REGISTER from local

Hi Thomas,
Do you have a ticket open with our support? 408 Time out typically means we are attempting to send the call to you but we are not getting a response thus the call times out.

I believe the OP is referring to VOX in South Africa but I could be wrong. Generally though a 408 message means that 3CX did not get a response when trying to register and the attempt timed out. If that is the case then you should contact Vox and ask them what they see on their end.
