I have a simple task: to deploy new 3CX PBX station near old production PBX.
I created SIP trunk between new 3CX PBX station and old production PBX.
Now i have 2 questions:
1) when i made a call from 3CX to old production PBX, on SIP phone user saw fixed number. I can change it in SIP trunk settings (in DID and Caller ID parts), but it still stays fixed (the same), this is not 3CX internal extension number. How can i get 3CX internal extension number as Caller ID, when i call to old PBX through SIP trunk?
2) when i made a call from old PBX station to new 3CX station through SIP trunk, i can route call to specific extension, voicemail, external number etc, but only for one specific extension. How can i route incoming calls from old PBX station to any 3CX extension - for example, if a call is coming to 3CX from SIP trunk to number "1234" (from old PBX station), how can i set up rule "route this call to extension 1234" on new 3CX PBX station? And this rule must apply to all existing extensions on 3CX PBX?

No, i tryed to solve this task through "Generic SIP Trunk". It can be done only by "Bridge trunk"?

Unless you are somehow able to send DID information from the old PBX to 3Cx, and then have 3Cx route the call based on that, you will be unable to call an extension directly over a Generic Trunk. A bridge trunks operation is similar to calls originating from an extension. It is more or less considered an internal call. There may, however be issues with caller ID working the way you want it to, over a Bridge trunk. You might consider a combination of the two, one type (Bridge) for calls to 3CX, and a Generic trunk for calls outbound

This issue may be resolved by "adjusting" the outbound caller ID options on the Generic trunk. There are a number that specify from where caller ID is to be taken.

As i think, this "number that specify from where caller ID is to be taken" is hidden between this items:

This isn't "Originator Caller ID" and not "CallerNum caller's number". Maybe somebody know, what field and option is responsible to this "3CX extension number as CallerID"

3CX , by default, will not sent the extension number as caller ID over a provider trunk. Have you tried putting the extension number, in the Caller ID (for outside calls) field, against the extensions? The DID number would normally go in there.

Sure, and this works fine, but extension number isn't constant, so i can't enter one string and forget about this issue. How can i put variable "extension number" in this field?

Not sure I follow. The extension number is put in the field of that extension . If extension 202 places a call, the outbound CID should be 202.

How do you have this set up? Are you registering one extension, on 3CX against a trunk in the other PBX? If so, then only that one number will ever show at the other PBX. You'd need to install a trunk.

can you tell me exactly, where and what i must enter in SIP trunk settings for situation "If extension 202 places a call, the outbound CID should be 202"?

Unfortunatly, it's not one-size-fits all, even in the case of VoIP providers, let alone another PBX. It all depends on where they take the caller ID, and other trunk setting variables You will probably have to trial and error it

Ok, what parameter keeps caller extension number in 3CX?

I don't understand your question.

The option, that probably has to be changed will have, as an one of the choices "OriginatorCallerID"

What number is showing at the receiving end? Is is a number you programmed against the trunk when you installed it? Have you tried leaving it blank?

OriginatorCallerID contains "Default caller ID" string from "Caller ID" tab from SIP trunk settings:

If "Default caller ID" string isn't set, OriginatorCallerID field contains DID from DIDs tab:

This is variables list, maybe, any of them contains called extension number?

Solution found here. All other questions was solved too.

Which is what I had suggested, (in my third reply) , earier.

@leejor - unfortunately, your answers was useless.
You can't show me, where and what exactly i must fix for resolve issue. Sorry for that bad answer.
