We are looking at different systems and one feature that another provider has is the ability to be talking to a person on your deskphone /mobile/web client and say you need to leave the offie or walked in to the office. you can dial *88 on another phone wit the same extension and keep talking and the caller has no idea.

For example. I am talking to a person on my desk phone, and it is going longer than expected, and I need to leave to go to another meeting.

I can open the app on my cell phone dial *88 and the call is automatically transferred to my cell phone without the person I am talking to knowing. This allows me to leave the office and continue the conversation.

Thanks.

On 3CX, you just transfer the call to yourself. Your other devices will ring and you can pick it up wherever you want.

OK. the thing I don't like about this is you have to place the customer on hold, and then transfer them to yourself, then pick it up.

But atleast there is is a way to transfer the calls between devices.
