Trouble Provisioning Snom D735

We ran into issues where PnP provisioning of a Snom D735 was not working on a network with a 3CX SBC and a working D785 that provisioned without issue.

Snom support indicated that the MAC address of the D735 was not registered to their SRAPS via 3CX's RPS. Does anyone know of an issue affecting D735s and auto-provisioning with version 16.0.1.273?

So if you provision a phone via SBC it shouldn't touch SRAPS. SRAPS is only used when you configure as STUN. There's a chance the D735 has old firmware that doesn't trust the LE cert (assuming you are using a 3CX FQDN). The guide covers how to manually upgrade firmware:
