Hello,

I'm having difficulty connecting my W52P set to the 3CX system. I have tried searching the forum for related topics, having read them thoroughly, I have come to no solution.

The system is cloud hosted, I can't even connect to devices manually with SIP username and password.
  • I've followed the official guide: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/yealink-dect-w52p/
  • I reset the W52P to factory settings and tried again
  • I have checked the firmware versions
  • I removed the extension from 3CX and added again
  • I removed the device from FXS/DECT section and added again
My mobile phone and tablet softphones have no issues connecting. Including when they are on the same wifi/ip range as the base station.

I don't no what else to do, I'm thinking a firewall issue? This base station was previously registered with Sipgate and it was working perfect.

Any assistance will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Alex

Make sure you have the require ports on the firewall open -
https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/firewall-router-configuration/

Also make sure that 'Disallow use of extension outside the LAN' is unticked , in 15.5 SP5 'Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked)' is unticked - under the option tab for each extension.

Also make sure your IP has not been blacklisted

Hello @Alex Mitton

Also check the Ip blacklist in case your IP was blacklisted at any point.

Yes I made sure that was unchecked on the extensions. I think my firewall is fine as I can access the file "https://refinegroup.3cx.co.uk:5001/provisioning/***********/000000000000.cfg" from a tablet on the same network.

Hello @Alex Mitton

Yes I checked that after reading one of the other topics.

What should be the process after auto provisioning, does it reboot?
It says Configuration updating ... then The operation is done! then it refreshes to the auto-provision tab again. Am I right thinking it should reboot and I have to log with the "Device Web Page Password" from the 3CX system?

Also if there was a problem connected to the provision server would it display a error here or just in the logs? I will check the logs now and post any results. Thanks again

Code:
<131>Jun 28 11:40:28 LIBD[826]: DCMN<3+error > Certificate doesn't verify and error is 0, reason 1070
<131>Jun 28 11:40:28 LIBD[826]: HTTP<3+error > Connect Error
<131>Jun 28 11:40:28 ATP [826]: ATP <3+error > https to file failed, code = -3, msg = Connect Failed, retry = 3

That's what I am seeing in the error log on the W52P. Where does this problem lie for certificates?
Thanks

While in the web interface of the phone navigate to Security / Trusted Certificates and set the option "Only Accept Trusted Certificates" to disabled.
Confirm the option and try provisioning the device again. Let us know of the results.

Following this topic.. I do have "Simular problems"
Unable to provissioning a W52p set on a cloud hosted 3cx..
laptop and phone clients no problem.

on a homebased server it is fine.
all above checks done..
