Hi,

We have been receiving this following alert several times within a single month.
"Trunk L:90000(WebMeeting bridge) has changed status to registered"

I am aware that there is an existing thread that has already been closed
(https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/trunk-notification.75576/).

However, I would like to gain a deeper understanding of why this alert is being triggered in the first place. Specifically, I would like clarification on the underlying reasons or conditions that cause this alert to be raised, rather than focusing only on the alert itself.

Additionally, it would be helpful to know what steps can be taken to prevent this issue from occurring again in the future by addressing the root cause, not just suppressing or acknowledging the alert.

Thank you in advance for your guidance.

Is the server restarting? If automatic updates were enabled update 8a would have recently installed.

Hello Steve
Yes, automatic updates are enabled; nevertheless, the current version is 20.0 Update 8 (Build 1121 Release). Does this mean 8a?

Is it related to update? Can you point any 3CX wiki page?

Yes that is 8A: https://www.3cx.com/blog/change-log/phone-system-change-log-v20/
https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/ip-sip-trunk-security/

In the event log you should see like (read bottom up):

Thank you for your response. Can we confirm whether this is a standard log that is generated whenever the SBC is updated or restarted?

Additionally, is there a 3CX‑specific Wiki page or documentation that explains what changes were made during the update?

Thank you again for pointing out the log entry below, which indicates that 3CX was updated prior to the alert being triggered.

The log entry will show when that service restarts. Normally an update reboots the server. The web meeting bridge is unrelated to any SBC.
