I am trying to create an evaluation system to work through all the various potential configuration issues prior to moving my V18 systems to V20.
There are however a number of hurdles, first getting a licence from the portal, so when logged into the portal I cannot select the option
3CX Self Hosted / On Premise - PRO/ENT - is greyed out.
You exceeded the maximum number of free subscriptions for this installation type

Istructions from https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v20-preview/
  1. Go to https://www.3cx.com/install/ (if you have an existing portal account, you can do it from there).
  2. Select self hosted and follow the steps.
  3. Select Linux - V20 Preview to get the ISO download link.
  4. Now download the configuration file or copy the link to the configuration file (step 3).
  5. Boot up the ISO and select either command line or web.
  6. Copy the file or paste the link to the configuration file.
  7. Login to the system!
So how do I get a licenced test evaluation V20 system in place.

You can request a trial from your account manager, or via a Partner.

Sadly our reseller unable to help. Sadly we just do the renewal licences. Suggested I try somebody else.

Feel free to DM me. I should be able to get you a license for testing.

Is it the licence package that is required? I tried to do an install of the ISO on a new VM hoping it would setup, but got to a part where it was looking for a file for 3CX, then because it could not get file (assume this is licence file) it bombed back to a prompt, loads of options.

The file is an XML produced by www.3cx.com/install

You can also restore an backup if wanted.
