Tunnel problem

Is port 5090 tcp & udp forwarded at the local end?

Yes it is. In fact I did one final test. I had another application that was using port 8098. That application was working properly from outside the domain. I shut it down and reconfigured 3CX to use THAT port. When I used canyouseeme.org, that port came up an unreachable. I used Netstat to determine if 3CX was listening on the port, and it was not even listening on the tunnel port.

I am completely beside myself here. I think I have been staring at it so long that the answer is eluding me no matter how simple or complex it may be. I don't know where to go from here...

OK, so let's start at the beginning and compare notes between our systems -

As indicated, I am running V11 (paid) on a Win 7 machine. At the moment, I am behind a D-link router and SIP ALG is off.
I did a netstat -a -o and can see that 5090 is listening for TCP and is tied to 3CX tunnel on a PID which I can confirm is running in task manager. The extension I am looking for remotely is enabled to be used outside the LAN, I am NOT using STUN as I have a fixed IP that is entered into the appropriate boxes in the Network tab for both STUN and PUBLIC IP. I also have ALLOWSOURCEASOUTBOUND set to 1. Firewall checker passes all tests. Tunnel is set to 5090 and points to the only NIC I have on the system (I assume you too only have the one).

To be safe, I suggest that you make the changes, ensure that no hidden (preceding or trailing spaces) were accidentally introduced into any of the settings and then reboot the system from scratch as opposed to simply restarting 3CX services.

Please do the above, reconfirm and if this still does not help, then PM me and I will set up an extension on my system for you to test the remote aspect just to see if you can log into my system and we can eliminate one end of the problem

Ok, I have been running 3cx since version 6 on basically the same system (HP DL380 G4) with Windows Server 2008 (upgraded to R2 last year). I have been using 3cx phone for 3 remote users for the past 2 years and it has been connected via tunnel the whole time. My problems started when I backed up my v.10 and installed v.11. I noticed that the tunnel wasn't working, so I uninstalled v.11 figuring that I would try it after it spent a bit more time in the oven. After reverting back to v.10, I noticed that the tunnel didn't work again. I have tried a rediculious number of things and even installed 3cx on a new machine in trial mode. On the other machine the tunnel worked FINE until I restored my database and then BLAMO...

I am using a Cisco SA 520W router. I printed out the list of open ports and tested each and every one of them with http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/. EVERY port worked except 5060, 5090, 9000-9049. Every other application on the system is communicating to the outside world. The phone system works perfectly within the domain (thankfully), so for the time being (other than losing my marbles), I am still operational. My salesmen are a bit pissed that they have to call clients from their cell phones though.

Checked and rechecked.

Tested with a bare install of the application on another machine and it worked.

Geeeeeee, glad that my superior troubleshooting and deductive reasoning was able to solve the problem......LOL.

Hope all works well going forward.

Ain't it perplexing! You DID give me a lot of areas to look, and I DO appreciate that. My feeling is that SOMEWHERE in the database when it was backed up, there is a missing setting, and for the life of me, I cannot find it. I don't know what to do. I may have to start a completely fresh installation, decommission this one, and activate the new one.

It's kinda making me crazy...:(
