Turn off the fax?

Is there a way to turn off the fax feature? I don't use it & my providor doesn't support it right now. I'd like to turn it off and not see those registration messages every 10 minutes.

Duh! Should have thought of that myself. I was thinking there should be a checkbox somewhere in the console to enable/disable faxing.
