Ok Today i learned how to add a bitmap image on the Screen of the Grandstream GXP2000.
Hope you need it or works fine with you.
Software Version: Program-- 1.1.5.15 Bootloader-- 1.1.5.6
1.- First you need a bitmap 8 bit mono, and encoded to base64 go to this site to encode it.
http://www.motobit.com/util/base64-decoder-encoder.asp
2.- Download this XML file and edit it and add the encoded info between <bitmap> YOUR INFO <bitmap>
XML FILE: http://www.enetsystems.com.mx/gs_screen.xml
3.- Then upload the XML file to an tftp server, if you dont have one you can download this server for windows, its very small program
http://www.tftp-server.com/tftp-download.html
4.- Then you need to go to your GXP-2000 web admin to ADVANCED > Idle Screen XML Download = YEST,TFTP and add your TFTP server YourTFTPSERVER / save and reboot
5.- Then go to your phone Menu > Preference > Download SCR XML (not the webadmin, but your lcd menu)
Then you must have your custom screen on the phone, you can test my XML file and it should show you the 3CX logo.
Hope it works for you.
