Still don't see the need. I see the want, but not the need. There's no requirement (at least in the US as far as I'm aware) for encryption for voice traffic. There's several regulatory standards for data at rest, but nothing for voice in transit. Hence why I asked what the need was.

Why would you assume the need is regulatory? Confidentiality is a very common business requirement.
