Solved Twilio Trunk Not Listed on Trunk Pulldown

Hello all! I just setup an instance of the free 10 user account hosted by 3cx. I want to test it out before I setup a paid version, however, I don't see twilio on the list of trunks (screenshot attached).

Is this because the full list of trunk providers is only available with a paid account? Any direction or guidance would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance!

Please note that for the SMB installations Twilio is not available due to compatibility:


In this case you should consider installing as a 3CX Hosted to get this option.

Thanks so much for the feedback! So if I get the 3CX pro "hosted" version (screenshot attached), 3cx will setup/maintain/update my server instance and I just have to login and put in the details for my Twilio sip trunk?

Yes, 3CX will maintain and update the operating system. However, you can review what is included in the 3CX Hosted option. All you have to do is log in and refer to our Admin guide for Twilio configuration. Alternatively, you can contact a 3CX Partner who can assist you with all of the above.

@carlosglz11 To add further, all 3CX Hosted installations are managed from 3CX. Also we monitor the machines 24/7 and take action immediately when is needed. This will give you peace of mind for the machines as you only have to make the configuration depending on the customer needs.

Thanks for all the detailed info! After testing the free version with a 3CX recommended trunk provider, will definitely try the 3cx hosted install.
