Two NIC Cards

Hello,

I want to run 3cx on our existing Windows 2003 server. We have the main NIC connected to our 1st broadband for the data. I have added a second NIC card that is connected to a seperate broadband for our VOIP. Question is can I tell 3cx to use a specific network adapter for the VOIP trafic?
 
In Windows Server 2003 you can only specify a gateway for one network card. This means all your internet traffic will go over that network card by default.

You could enter a static route to your voip provider in your situation.

just enter in a command window

ROUTE ADD [IP VOIP PROVIDER] [255.255.255.255] [IP SECOND NETWORK CARD] -P

Now all internet traffic will go over the first network card except for the ip you entered in the static route.
If there are more ip's you could specify more ip's

Not quite. I need to get the system running using the 1st NIC until I get my number ported over then I want to enable the route. I'm having trouble getting internal extensions talking to each other, see post

I'm sorry I was still looking at the 2NIC problem. Still your routing table looks strange to me. Does your server has 4 interfaces. From your routing table I can see 4 interfaces:

192.168.1.15 -> ip of server
5.97.28.202 -> hamachi I guess
192.168.13.1 -> where does this ip come from
192.168.184.1 -> this one I also don't understand

The reason your internal calls go wrong is Forbidden. This is quite strange for internal calls but maybe it had something to do with the multiple ip's. What you could do is enter the LocalSubnets in your ini file. See other posts or manual how to do this.

Something else you could try is connect by hostname. Enter the hostname of the server in the 3CX console under General and connect your phones to that hostname instead of the IP.
 
Yes, thats a VMware network. I did install the software on a XP box and have had everything working fine today. Although it would ne nice to have it running on our server.
