Two trunks with same Authentication ID

Hi all,

My voip provider gave me access to two SBC-s (primary and backup I believe) with same login credentials (username/password) and now I can't setup both trunks in 3CX because I am getting error: "Authentication ID provided is already used for another external line - Generic VoIP Provider".

Is there solution for this situation?

You can't, ask if your provider can change the username for the secondary one.

Alternatively, ask them if they have a registrar that has an SRV record, that references both primary and backup server. 3CX will work with SRV records.

If it is a 3CX approved provider, tell me which one it is and I can try and check as well.
